What we collect, why, and how to get it removed. In plain words, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.
Who is responsible
Viralika is built and run by its founder as a private individual. There is no company behind it yet. When there is one, this page will say so and the version will go up.
What we collect
From an application: your email, a link to your main social profile, what you are promoting, and the language you chose. From the site itself: nothing, until you allow analytics. We store a one-way fingerprint of your IP address to stop automated submissions — the address itself is never written down.
Why we collect it
To decide on your application and to answer it. Analytics, if you allow it, tells us which pages bring applications. It does not tell us anything about you personally.
Who else sees it
Analytics goes to PostHog and Meta, and only after you allow it. If your email is ever sent to an advertising platform it goes as a one-way hash, never in the clear. We do not sell this data and we do not buy anyone else's.
How long we keep it
An application is kept while it is open and for twelve months after a decision. Analytics follows the retention of the service that stores it. Nothing is kept because it might be useful one day.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. Write to the address in the footer; a person answers.
Changes to this page
This page carries a version number. If what we collect changes, the version goes up and everyone with an account is told. A policy that changes quietly is not a policy.
